Archiving Transactions

This activity will archive all `Posted' transactional data between the entered date range into a set of archive tables. Additionally, all transactional parked data such as private, donotprocess, etc. will also be archived using the effective transaction date.

To report on this archived data, the following reports are available:

· Archived GL Reconciliation Detail (see A listing of accounts with no activity for the selected period.)

· Archived Transactions By User (see Archived Transactions By User)

To archive transactions:

1. Select the Admin tab;

2. From the Administration page, select Activity Parameters from the Activities section on the left hand side of the page;

3. From the Activity Parameters page, select Transaction Data Archive from the activities list;

4. Enter the From Date and To Date;

These dates correspond to the posted date for `Posted' transactions, and the transaction date for parked transactions.

5. Click Update Changes;

6. Click Process.

To un-archive transactions:

1. Select the Admin tab;

2. From the Activity Parameters page, select Transaction Data Un-Archive from the activities list;

3. Enter the From Date and To Date;

These dates correspond to the posted date for `Posted' transactions, and the transaction date for parked transactions.

4. Click Update Changes;

5. Click Process.
